I would be surprised if he came back this season unfortunately. I think his removal from the report is in line with your thinking.

I am calling this a must-win game. Not because our season is derailed if we lose, but we have to capitalize on the momentum built last week. We have an opportunity to go 4-2 for the first time since 2021 AND win on the road for the first time in over a year. Granted, the environment will not be hostile but these environments can actually be more difficult to play in from a mental standpoint. To me, a win here would signify that the team is serious about competing this year.

I kinda figured because I was pretty sure I saw him in a sling last weekend but figured i'd ask.

Maybe he can get a medical redshirt and maybe (lol) he won't transfer out and we'll get another year.

I heard he has a left pec strain but I am guessing it is Grade 2 or 3 if he is indeed done for the year.

I agree with you. If App and Georgia State were to swap schedules, then App would likely be 1-4 and Georgia State would likely be 3-2 (possibly losing to Oregon State). That indicates a close game on Saturday. If we lose, we head into the meat of the conference schedule needing to go 3-3 to get a bowl bid. We’ll be underdogs against JMU and ODU, favored against Coastal and Marshall and near pick’ems against Georgia Southern and Arkansas State. A 3-3 finish or better is certainly doable, but with far less margin for error. If we win on Saturday, with four of six remaining games at Kidd Brewer then the second half shapes up far more favorably.
