I am not a big follower of baseball, but seems to be a lot of hidden talent in the Charlotte area... I know of a couple local kids that committed to low to mid major D1 programs that ended up getting drafted in the top 10 rounds.
Not sure if it still is, but it used to be if you were drafted that high, there's a damn good chance you're making it to the show at some point in your career. But, that was a long time ago so I would imagine it's changed by now.
