This really the best we got? Some of us are really tired of being LOSERS. Can’t even make a bowl game. We’ve now missed a bowl last three out of four years, yet many on this board just want to attack others and offer NOTHING.

i'll pretend you're being sincere with this post. what's your suggestion? do you really believe firing a coach after one 5-7 season is the answer? are you aware of other programs that continually replace their entire coaching staff on an annual basis and find immediate success? it's incredibly rare, even more so year over year.

It's also incredibly expensive to do so. for our program which we're all aware struggles financially.

So I'll open it over to you, what is your alternative? we fire Loggains, someone? pays his buyout, someone? pays for another coach who just watched us fire a guy for going 5-7 after one season, and then if he also wins 5 or less, we fire him too? would love to hear your plan.

1) Admitting you were wrong is a sign of strong character, and DG was absolutely wrong to make this hire. I understand the money, at this point, requires us to keep DLo for foreseeable future.

2) App State sits at an inflection point. We’ve now missed a bowl 3 out of 4 last seasons. Unless something changes, that is who we are now: Bottom feeders.

We’ve all witnessed the decline. Lots of people want to come on here and be like, “well what would you do?!”

That’s silly. Anyone willing to continue riding this wave has just accepted that we’ve become a has-been. DLo is not getting us out of this mess — CLEARLY — and neither is DG.

My suggestion is to fire DLo and DG. It’s inevitable anyway. Might as well get it over with and move on. DG should have hired a proved HC rather than someone who just nailed the interview.

Finish 5-6, I can think of three games (Southern Miss, Coastal, today) that we lost by beating ourselves and being stupid. Southern Miss (early), Coastal (mid season), today. Could easily be 8-3, but (as someone alluded to earlier) apparently stupid can't be fixed.

True, but having triple the NIL dollars to recruit with has to be considered. I'm not saying the last staff would have been great with those funds, but this staff better prove they can use them wisely this off-season. This years record was no better than last despite playing a much easier schedule. They won't have the luxury of an extremely easy schedule next year.

Not going to go through all of this right now, I’m sure there is a mix of half cocked alcohol fueled BS, measured positive and negative takes and just plain sadness. I for one am just sad for this team, I never saw any quit including today. I wish they could have finished with a win but BULLSHIT always seemed to bite this group whether self inflicted or zebra 50/50 calls going against us at crucial times. Again, not sure I have been this sad for a group ever. Whatever happens I hope we can all agree this team played hard and delivered their end of the bargain.
