Definition of portal era football. We barely know our guys. He played in every game a good amount.
Unless this was a "who" as in don't care, he's gone. Haha!

Literally me, I was at every home game during undergrad, moved out of state and couldn't go to any, back in NC, season ticket holder for three years; I used to know everyone, but now I know no one.

This is what happened in MLB. Back in the 90's I remember standing in line at a shopping mall to get Otis Nixon and Terry Pendleton's autographs. My wife and I knew all the starters and pitchers by name. After the strike and then a decade later it became harder and harder to follow as many fewer players stayed with a team for a period of time. That is where we are now with college football.

As far as I am concerned.... they can all hit the portal, with the exception of Dubinion, Lewis, and maybe Phares (Obviously Roberts can stay but he didn't get to play this year so I don't include him). If they want to try and keep Barnes then fine as long as he isn't asking for superstar money.

I would disagree with that. Although our OL and DL lines were not the best, we had some young players that got experience. Hopefully, the year in the trenches was an investment in the future.

I believe you are right. I think I even mentioned in another thread that he was a senior and had no eligibility left.

If the NCAA changes the rule to 5 years total eligibility, then he would have an extra year. Most believe that will happen but they pushed the vote back to February. There is a push to get the vote held prior to the winter portal in January but no movement on that front as of yet, at least I haven’t heard of any.

Probably need a thread for those that are even eligible to come back. Hard to keep up with all these portal changes each year. But there were a good number to come out to be recognized as seniors the last game.

He reminds me of a Grayson McCall before all the injuries. Don't think this kid had any injury issues I am aware of so he should get a good starting role in a P5 program and do well.
