The one guy who is being picked up by the mic going OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO has forced me to mute the broadcast.

Up 63-52 with 2:02 left. Dodd is severely cramping.

Re: At ECU
First 12 min of second half, pure trash, last 8 minutes, very good. They got it in em, just needs consistency.

Double digit win on the road. Not pretty, but it’s a dub.

Re: At ECU
Do we really have 5,000 at the Hickory campus? The announcers mentioned that just before the game ended.

I thought I heard elsewhere that it's 500.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote: ↑Thu Dec 11, 2025 8:50 pmDo we really have 5,000 at the Hickory campus? The announcers mentioned that just before the game ended.

Re: At ECU
I'm glad we bounced back from the bad start to the 2nd half. We could have won by 30 if we'd have taken care of the ball in that stretch.

Re: At ECU
Having dropped in and walked around on a Friday e mid semester I would think 500 was reasonable, maybe 1,000. Place was deserted but it was Friday after lunch. Library was crazy tiny, not so much space but collections.BUTCH1991 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 11, 2025 9:00 pmI thought I heard elsewhere that it's 500.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote: ↑Thu Dec 11, 2025 8:50 pmDo we really have 5,000 at the Hickory campus? "At App State’s Hickory campus, Mountaineer student enrollment grew by 2.3% from fall 2024 to fall 2025. In its third year of operation, App State Hickory serves 523 students — a population that includes 276 first-generation students and 380 students from North Carolina counties classified as rural by the state’s Department of Commerce."

Re: At ECU
Glad to get the win! The offense tbh is roughly the same as last year and I'd argue the ceiling might be higher (certainly on the guard play) then last year, but we're getting "crushed" defensively compared to last season. CJ was obviously fantastic inside. The team's defensive FG% is down quite a bit.
The prior several seasons Kerns has narrowed down about 50%~ of playtime to his top-3 rotations. The Vl game skeys it a bit right now but none of the rotations are over 10%~. Regardless a win is a win.

Re: At ECU
I find it hard to believe that we are going to increase attendance to home games. Even when we win (in this case by double digits) it’s not just ugly, it’s BAD ugly.

Re: At ECU
I was, and still am, a supporter of Dustin Kerns, but his coaching style is ugly basketball. When App is winning, I don't mind it, but it's not fun to watch.
