Definitely a completely different playbook at times for these QBs.

With that scary punt catch I assume the wind is decent from left to right according to TV viewing.
Hope that is the case. May be able to better move in the second quarter.
The ball looked like it died as it got near the goal... Wind is kicking here today.

Announcer just said DL said Wilson “isn’t a strong passer”

Since we haven't seen it I assume the midrange and deep ball isn't good from him?

Are we going to win this game, no, but the long play here with the extra practice, evaluation of what’s left and what will be needed is 100% worth it. Today will be tough to watch, but the upside for a stronger app team next year is worth it. I know it’s a chat board and free country but perhaps chill on the negativity, these kids are doing their best under the situation, enjoy a true college football team today.

Why isn’t Wilson not staying in, we move the ball much better when he’s behind center.

One must be able to throw to be a dual threat qb.

Smaller and probably doesn’t process defenses well. But, neither did our other guys.

We can still win. But the rest is spot on.

Reminds me of the Miami Dolphins season were they snapped it to Ronnie Brown all season.

Wilson is a good spark plug that they probably didn’t scheme for. A nice surprise, and we are blocking well at the moment. Score inside the red zone.

Regardless of the outcome today I appreciate these guys showing up and playing. At least they want to be at APP.

Hopefully Lewis gets his cleats fixed and helps soon too.

Was there any word on 7? I assume he was still a bit too hurt.

We have not passed the ball down field all year. Very rarely.

All of your responses make a lot of sense.

1st Qtr recap: App showed up stronger than many of us thought they would. You also have to wonder if GASO players are taking App for granted, giving so many starters have left. That could make things interesting.
