Tot has solidified his spot in the starting lineup. Dodd, Tot and Jennings are a pretty dangerous combo along with the twin towers down low and stretch 4. But man, our bench does not get it done.

Tot said instead of seasoned fries, he’ll take some Bo Rounds with that Cajun Filet Buscuit and sweet tea.

Man alive, did Tot go crazy. He had like two points with 10 minutes to go.

I can't believe how we struggle to get students there. I know it's a day game, but geez, hardly any students that I can see
I think its because of our exciting style of offensive play - students would rather be in class and or at a bar.

I would guess more students tomorrow. I know I always had packed Tuesday/Thursday classes so I had Friday's more free.

Feel like it’s this every year.
Kerns says we have 10, yet we really have like 5-6 guys you can count on.

They do have class, you know. Some students didn’t sit in the student section They were sprinkled in the reserved seats. I give credit to the ones who came.

Gotta play better tomorrow. I’m pretty sure we can’t rely on Tot to bail us out for two straight days.

You do have to remember that ULL is like #2 in scoring defense even though their record doesn’t show it. They have had some significant injuries to their best players. For probably the first half of the first half, they played about a step quicker then we did. They were also hot early but cooled then the second half played out. Kerns said in the postgame relating to playing with a shorter bench, that sometimes during the season, you have certain guys that work together better and have certain skills so that’s who you go with…. but that can change over time…. this is paraphrasing. Also said when Tot got hot… (crazy) he did not tell the guys to feed him…. he told them to play their regular offense. I do think the players themselves were very willing to find him tho.

With Southern's loss last night the #2 seed is wide open although Troy looks poised to run away with #1 especially with two games against ULM later this season.

Banks is less then two weeks out from his injury and he's got a couple seaons of good shooting under his belt. I have no doubt he'll return to form this season. But yah we're gonna need at least another guard whose able to come off the bench and contribute good minutes...

Tuned in to the game for a few minutes during lunch. Told my son that even though it’s an oddball day and time for a game it’s really amazing that with a 20k student body and allowing for classes being held I really can’t believe there aren’t at least 500-1000 students there yesterday. I think that overall these days most students simply don’t care about attending sports. That being said with the ridiculous roster turnover most adults don’t much care either.

If we had pulled out the ODU game, we'd currently be alone in 2nd. There clearly is a ton of parity in the Belt thus far. Other than Troy no one has played with any consistency.
