They’ve been on a tear. I’ll have to go back and look at their path, but beating Florida twice and Ole Miss is tough to do.
And they made a deep run in the SBC.

After this weekend, I have come around to your way of thinking about scheduling tougher. Troy seems unfazed by the level of competition.

I doubt it. Strength of schedule is too important in the way they pick teams for the college baseball tournament. A loss to a good team looks better than a win against a bad team most times. Georgia had losses to Troy, Western, Kennesaw State, and Wright State and it didn’t affect their postseason placement much at all.

Agreed here. The SEC is so difficult that I don't think the committee weighs the midweeks much unless you're "on the bubble". If you dominate conference like Georgia did, it doesn't matter who they played/lost to in the midweeks. I mean, they beat Miss State 6 times in 1 season...and I thought losing to Stink twice in football was bad. I don't see much midweek scheduling change for major P4 teams. Have to play someone! Hope we land on some of those schedules next year as we've proven we're a solid ball club.
