No clue. First time I have ever watched LL Softball WS. Was channel surfing last week and just happened that NC team was playing.

The World Series is played in NC. The NC champ gets an automatIc berth to the World Series. Had 6 girls on the travel team I coached win the softball little league world series when it was still held in Portland several years back. My daughter sat that year of little league out due to a bad health diagnosis with my wife. My daughter was bummed, but it was fun for her to cheer them on from a distance while she stood by her Mom.
