ASU has only been a full-fledged member of the NCAA's Division-I since *dang-it* 1971--that's 43 years (in four more days). Some people, however, still haven't gotten the memo. Latest case in point--an online article by Steve Behr of WATAUGA DEMOCRAT implying that App will finally join Division I in 2014. I know what he's trying to get across, but a guy in his shoes who devotes at least 75% of his time covering ASU athletics should have the background and knowledge to get it right in an online article that will be seen by who knows how many thousands of people across the globe.

The article appears in the October 2013 edition of ISSUU: Boone, My Hometown...Page 7...a MOUNTAIN TIMES publication.

Unless I missed it, that mistake appears only in the photo caption, and i doubt Behr wrote those.
