This is why I'm part of Yosef! There are more Tony's in the world than the media will ever let on.

My son works for the NFLPA and is in California this week. He pushed for Tony to be in this game!

if that is the case, then Tony is making your son look like a genius. from all accounts I see on twitter he has been the best WR out there so far this week. getting a lot of good pub from some national media

Just talked with my son. Tony is doing great and was called the premier receiver at this game.

My son was responsible for the Northeast down to South Carolina plus all FCS and D2 schools.

Congrats to Washington!

Speaking of App's WRs, anyone know how "the Chancellor" is doing?

Hey not only is TW competing by some accounts he's the best prospect. Google optimumscouting.com and NFLPA. They list the ten best prospects for the week and #1 was Tony. Very strong write up on him. There was 130 scouts representing all 32 teams. Sounds like TW will get a pretty good shot.

They broadcast 2 and 1/2 hours of the NFLPA Collegiant Bowl practices this morning.
Couldn't believe ESPNU did that, but saw some of it and Tony had a couple of TD's in
practice and got rave reviews. One of the four announcers said he was the most natural
receiver there, and that they had five times as much talent on the field than the players
from last year.
They also spoke a lot @ another WR named Washington from Newberry, but he kept
missing passes when I watch him.
TW is #16 on the white shirted American team, but they use their college helmets
so he is easy to spot. There are @ 7 Sun Belt players on the black shirted National team.
Here are the other SBC team members and rosters, etc.:

Where's Tony? He's not been in the game and he's not listed on the NFL.com roster...??

Wrong Game. That is the East-West Game on the NFL network. Tony is playing at 6:00 on ESPN2 in the NFLPA Bowl. He's #16 on the American team.

Phew! Thanks for the clarification. I didn't realize there were 2 games going on today. He had a nice tackle on that INT.

Even though it is a soccer stadium, I like the StubHub Center better than the stadium in Frisco, where the FCS Championshop Game has been played.

Man. They were gushing all over Tony right before the half. He made several good catches and the announcers and sideline guy couldn't say enough about how good of a receiver he is. They even mentioned the "powerhouse" program at App moving up to the next level.

I looked at sbnation.com's rankings of the the top 40 draft eligible receivers and saw an Appalachian State receiver ranked #25. Surprisingly, its Sean Price, not TW. Not sure how I feel about that. I know some athletes have been labeled as "chokers" but this may be when one of the few times it is a literal description.

Nice to hear Bill Polian calling out TW as a standout for the first half. May have earned himself a draft position!
