Sammy WAtkins gave Stepp. Nice shout out on Twitter today. Tajh did awhile back. Cool to have a coach with that kind of respect. I'd think it would help with recruiting to have a projected top pick saying nice things about you.

I would like to see Mason Sanders,Shaedon Meadors, and Matthew Eaton signed. Along with the guys we got all ready you talk about a combination of receivers tall, fast . strong. We do need to hopefully find a tailback that might help take a little load off of Cox. I can see our offense being strong and very deep if we can pick up some of these receivers. Our d is where i feel we are going to need to bulk up especially on the line. I have not seen any of the Red Shirt freshmen so we might have some already on the team but we do need the depth that we have all said we need to compete with the BCS teams.

Matt Eaton also posted that Sammy Watkins game him some inspiration today... could be a good sign..

I would love to get Meadows and Eaton, the coaches will have really shown their stuff if this happens.

That said I just don't see Meadows picking us over ODU (location to home) and Eaton Ark St same reason.

Meadors would be a great get and a defining recruit for this class.

If he did pick odu it would not be bc of proximity to home as Boone is 2.5 hours away and Norfolk is over 6 hours away from his hometown.

I don't know. I think we are about 50/50 with ODU. Coach Stepp tweeted how he had an amazing in home visit last night and App Football could be getting better today. This tells me he was visiting Meadors and felt it went really well. I honestly think we get Meadors.

You have to think he has reason to believe SOMEBODY will commit to App today. A coach wouldn't normally do that sort of social media tease if he wasn't pretty confident.

You and me both. The 5th can't get here soon enough for me since I've been at this hard since MARCH!!! I've got everything crossed for today and the next 12 after it. The staff is working HARD and I know we're all hoping for a strong finish.

3 Star WR Shaedon Meadors (6′ 2″ 180) of James Byrnes High School in Duncan, SC has committed to App today. This is a great pickup for us and a terrific way for us to head into the second to last visit weekend before signing day. I’ll be moving him to the Commits section of the Main Page shortly. I’m also hearing there will be a free article on 24/7 about the commit so I’ll link it as soon as it comes out for those who want to take a look. Huge congrats to the staff and I believe we’ll have more coming in the next few days.
