Our Schedule?
I know our schedule hasn't officially been announced yet, but I saw this on Coach Foster's twitter, wondered what you guys thought.

Re: Our Schedule?
My first thought was, "Sheesh, couldn't we find a recent photo of Michigan Stadium?" And my second thought was that I like it, as long as it serves its purpose to motivate the guys, in the weight room I assume.

Re: Our Schedule?
And my third thought was as to why we couldn't take 10 seconds and make sure we had all of the universities logos up-to-date and correct? I know this is nit-picky but I'd prefer to think that schools we are playing are no longer employing the use of the Gorton's Fisherman.

Re: Our Schedule?
I know the schedule is supposed to be released around March 1st, but I wonder does anybody have any hints of the dates for sunbelt games?

Re: Our Schedule?
Every Saturday is black Saturday.
http://www.fbschedules.com/ncaa/sun-bel ... ineers.php
Campbell - opening game
1st Sun Belt home game will be family day, I'd like to have ULM or Idadho this game
Liberty - homecoming
Black Saturday - I'd like to have USA, but believe it will be the last home game in October.
Our home schedule in 2015 is going to be very good:
Southern Miss
GSU
ULL
Ark St.
Troy
FCS program

Do you feel confident that Liberty will be homecoming?Saint3333 wrote:Every Saturday is black Saturday.

Re: Our Schedule?
We typically schedule easier opponents and games in which there is less of a draw in late September early October.
I'd say 80%.

Re: Our Schedule?
I try to secure a house early for a large group. I understand your points. My concern is that Liberty could potentially bring a larger following than perhaps Idaho should they be scheduled say 10-4 or 10-18.Saint3333 wrote:We typically schedule easier opponents and games in which there is less of a draw in late September early October.

Re: Our Schedule?
Unless the non-conference is changed, the week of September 13th will be our first bye week. All of our SBC opponents have non-conference games that weekend.
And unlike FCS where we have only one bye week, we'll have three in FBS for 2014. After that it goes back to two due to the calendar. And if there's a 12th member and a conference championship added to the final week, we'll be back to having only one.

Re: Our Schedule?
Could you imagine a schedule like Wofford's next year?

Re: Our Schedule?
I didn't know what Liberty's logo was, and I'm guessing that this isn't an official poster that is being distributed (could be wrong). Looks quite basic and just done on-the-fly. Assuming that's the case, it's probably not worth worrying about.HkyMtneer wrote:And my third thought was as to why we couldn't take 10 seconds and make sure we had all of the universities logos up-to-date and correct? Re: Our Schedule?
Will the kickoff times and TV coverage also be announced when the Sun Belt announces the conference schedule, or will some of that be determined later?
Re: Our Schedule?
Two points here. In this case it was created by a coach for a coach and it was a VERY quick deal and intended for motivation for the players....and they (players) don't even care if the logo is right.HkyMtneer wrote:Certainly nothing worth worrying about.ASUMountaineer wrote:I didn't know what Liberty's logo was, and I'm guessing that this isn't an official poster that is being distributed (could be wrong). Point 2: That being said. I am VERY hopeful that this is exactly what the "new" marketing position gets a handle on. Just based on a little peek inside. We need to really assess what we do and how that might be "re-organized" for efficient and productive work to be done within the Athletic and Yosef, organizations.

Re: Our Schedule?
WLOS out of Asheville had a story yesterday about the end of the App/Can't "Rivalry" and they were still using the flying head logo. Hopefully, with the conference change everyone will update their logos to the block A.
