It's coming down in Huntersville. Very nice, and will take the boy out in it today...we'll see how that goes.

Looks like we may have missed out again on a decent snow. So far, all we have in Asheville is what I'd call an advanced dusting. Maybe the evening will bring more fun.

They are still forecasting an additional 4-8 inches down here in Greenville. We only have about 3 right now.

Started the day in Pinehurst. Snow started around 10am. Finished my cases and left Pinehurst around 11am. Took 5 hours to drive 123 miles to Winston Salem. 211 from Pinehurst to 220 took an hour. 220 was totally covered until Asheboro, could finally see the lanes! Stay inside!!!

When I grabbed my keys at 4, my wife asked where I was going. "Exploring" I replied. "Fish tailing and general buffoonery" is what I meant. 30 minutes later I returned with a huge grin on my face. Pickup trucks are so fun.

About 4" and sleeting now in Welcome, just south of Winston Salem for you big city folk! Driving my son to physical therapy this afternoon on the four lane highway going about 40 in a nice single line, then come two idiots fly past us going about 60. No wonder I spend so much of my working time picking up patients on the roadway either in an ems or fire department capacity. The problem with people around here is that 95% of the people on the road think they know how to drive in this stuff and the reality is that about 5% do. My wife is working her 24 today with the fire department and she likes to run calls but I ask you to stay off the roads. My 24 coming up again Friday. Have a great night everyone.

6.5 inches in my back yard in Browns Summit. This measurement was taken around 7:30pm while I was grilling some pork. :D

Yup, I was grilling. 22 degrees, a good foot and a half snow bank around the grill, the wind blowing my grill cover into the front yard. I was drinking a VooDoo and I didn't care.

I grill out during the first measurable snow every year. This is the third measurable snow for us, so tonight I had soup.
