Murray State going for 20

Unread post by thegreengopher » Mon Mar 24, 2014 8:01 am

The Racers are one win from having five-straight 20-win seasons. MSU came into this season tied with the teams from 1996-2000 with four straight 20-win campaigns under Coach Mark Gottfried and Tevester Anderson. In the last five seasons, the Racers are 125-37 (.771) and have averaged 25 wins per season. If the Racers win tonight they will have a school record of 5 consecutive 20 win seasons.

Matt McMahon----do we not think he knows about a winning culture? Give him a call!

Didn't we lose to Pacific in one of these "other" post season tournaments a few years ago?

Beat Pacific actually. Right after we dispatched Harvard and Jeremy Lin

I'd love to see VMI and Murray St. in the CIT finals. I'd drive to Lexington, VA or Murray, KY to see that game. Both of those programs do it the right way. I love to see teams like that become successful.

You made me go back and look like I should have done to begin with but we did lose to Pacific in the semi's. (Not that any of this really matters today)
