SoCon Cups Points 11 May 2014-Women Are Finished

This is being posted early morning on 11 May. I am not sure if this includes Saturday baseball results.

The women have finished. Furman, Samford, Elon, UTC, App was the top five in points. Since all 5 schools participate in all 9 SoCon sports that is also the order of points per sport average.

On the men's side App is 7th in points per sport average but have a 3.5 point lead over UTC that does not sponsor Baseball and a 4.5 point lead over Furman. App plays Furman next weekend in the last series before the SoCon baseball tourney. If Furman wins the baseball tourney and beat us in the weekend series the could take the Commish Cup. There are still lots of combinations on this but as long as Furman does not win the SoCon baseball tourney we should be safe with the Commish Cup (assuming I have not made a typo somewhere with the Spring sports and did not catch it.)

With the baseball walkoff today, App State has clinched the Commisioner's Cup. They announced it at the game.
