You act like having more true student athletes will cover for the ones that clearly aren't. There are many great student athletes at UNCCH, the first one that signed that letter is a friend of mine in Charlotte and a great guy that earned his degree. I feel sorry for real student athletes like him that today have to deal with the ones that did it the wrong way (and the system that let it occur).
The new UNCCH mantra is everyone does it, yep you're unfortunately right. However few do it to the extent UNCCH does (90% of NCAA institutions can't afford it), and none to my knowledge have claimed to the extent UNCCH has they haven't done it the past 30+ years.
