There are plenty of club bars that play hip hop, but App is virtually 100% honkey, so if you're looking for an underground rap scene you're in the wrong town.

How about we just get a music scene first. The Boone music scene has died compared to its past. I look at what comes around at whatt asheville, gboro, raleigh, wilmington, and many of the other cities around NC get and boone basically has no music scene anymore.

I see no reason why Boone can't have a hip hop scene. Not a likely place for one, but if any mid sized town in the NC mountains can have one, it's Boone.
