New AppStateSports.com

If you have yet to check out AppStateSports.com today, check it out. The website was completely redesigned overnight.

Although it is much cleaner and more modern, I'm not sure how much I love it. I feel as if you could replace the App State logo with any other school's logo and it would still work. Although the website is a bit easier to navigate now, the old website had more character. The new "Victory Yosef" is no where to be found on this new website, and it is lacking many graphics.

I don't know. It just seems very bland and "Gordon Fisherman Yosef" to me, if that makes any sense. What do you guys think?

It has a "flat" appearance that seems to be all the rage with recent computer UI look and feel.

I don't expect a complete unique look to the website. I am sure IMG has a few stock designs that are used for schools, and that will save some money.

I prefer to stick with one logo - "block A" on the website. Bring out Yosef every now and then but more for apparel than anything.

Overall it seems a little cleaner, but not a huge difference.

What I wish is the ability to save my password on this site so I can go straight to the A/V section and not waste time typing in the password.

Not a whole lot of difference, the menu rollouts work a little better. Users would know the Facebook and Twitter (and maybe ticket) tab, but I don't think the megaphone and "A" means "Promotions" and "Camps" to anyone. I see another promotions link under "Fanzone" but not "Camps" (except all the way at the bottom under info). To me if the tab is not instantly known take it off. I like the scrolling pictures to have the dot control.

Nothing big either way, can't say its better or worst.

New Yosef introduced today and getting rid of the old baldy Yosef is a plus for that site.
