A co-worker of mine was recently arrested AT work because the night before she hit her boyfriend. My employer allowed her to continue working until her court date. It has been resolved and she is not facing further punishment, but had she faced jail time she would have lost her job.

I see this case the same way, with football instead if a job. Just like my employer and co-worker, let him continue participating and if he is punished by law, kick him off the team.

Sorry, Gonzo and everyone else...The ASU Department of Athletics has a very specific policy on these matters and it was being followed to a "T" until someone, somehow granted AG a "partial reinstatement." There is no such thing as a "partial reinstatement" in the policy. Someone, somewhere in the department blew his/her coverage on that reinstatement. Now there's a good chance the whole thing is going to end up on our new Chancellor's desk as an example of a whole department of adults unable to follow policy established by the the AD and staff --and subsequently approved by the BOT.

This may not have a happy ending for anyone.

The ONLY way to handle these situations is TO FOLLOW THE DA** POLICY! It's not a requirement that one like or agree with the policy; just that one follow it! No matter what! If you don't then you've made your own bed.

You can always just refresh the page if you want to see the same text typed over and over again. It would certainly be easier on me.

Did they blow coverage or did they just ignore it. My bet is on the latter.
