practice videos
Anyone else having problems with the daily practice videos?
The ads play fine and ALL other streaming I try is fine. I have Time Warner, so I know I have plenty of bandwidth, but the practice videos, just do NOT work at all.

Re: practice videos
are you talking about the daily pieces which have been introduced by Kelsey? - if so, I have the top TWC feed and I have had no problems with freezes - if not, tell me what I am missing daily ---

Re: practice videos
Charter in Boone and I've watched each one with no problems. And we've been having internet problems for a while but at least not with these videos.

Re: practice videos
Does anyone know how to adjust settings in the neulion media player to manually choose stream rate?
Odd thing is the advertisements play fine.

Re: practice videos
I thought there was an option for this, but I checked bout Firefox and Chrome just to see if that made a difference and neither browser included that option.sixtoes9134 wrote:Does anyone know how to adjust settings in the neulion media player to manually choose stream rate?

Either that option was dropped from the media player, or I think it may only be an option for live events, but I can only test this theory when a live event is in process.
I am guessing an off-site non AppState nor Neulion is serving the ads, which means whatever problem some are having with the streams is on AppState or Neulion and not us the customers. Though my video is playing fine presently.

Charter top speed, Chrome V. 36.0.1985.143 m. Last practice video stopped for about two seconds and resumed with no further probs. Smacks of Neulion to me.

Re: practice videos
Has anyone sent in a ticket on this. I would but I did not have any problems. Either everyone having problems needs to fill out a ticket and blast David Jackson with the problems or one of us can send him one email so he still is aware but not having to deal with multiple emails on the same problem, just as long as the one person explains it is multiple people having the same problem.

Re: practice videos
No issues here. SC Charter 60 mb.
I do wish they had a minimize button instead of requiring the esc key. Sucks with a wireless mouse from the couch 12 feet away from the tv.

Re: practice videos
Running Comcast 50Mbps, i7 laptop and win 8.1 I got freezes so bad using IE that it was unwatchable. I switched to Firefox and now freezes occasionally but watchable. I never have any problems with streaming other video soures except this one. I know it is not the pipe or computer on my end. Clearly has to be something with Neulion and various tech stack combinations.

Re: practice videos
I've got 20 Meg Time Warner, a brand new router and literally cannot watch the videos.
Every other streaming service I use and/or try is fine.
