ND 31- Michigan 0

WOW! Maybe they spent too much time in the preseason scouting App and not enough preparing for the rest of their schedule.

Or maybe they just aren't that good, which is pretty much what most people expected before the season.

That says to me that they put everything they had into beating us and now their true self is showing. a 4 minute stretch of horrendous play from us in the 2nd qtr is the culprit to the larger than it probably should've been margin of victory UM had

Reality is Michigan isn't that good and those that thought this Michigan team was better than the 2007 team were hopeful more than accurate.

We made a lot of mistakes in the Michigan game, most are correctable, and were a product of inexperience. This made them look better.

We have a long way to go, but the talent level is getting better and I believe our coaches will correct mistakes as we go.

A lot of the missed tackles last night, went for long gains in the Michigan game. We have to get better in that area.

Michigan had the personnel to take advantage of our youth & inexperience at DB and WR. They had the advantage in the matchups across the board. Michigan might not be a great team this year, but they are going to win their share of games. ND is probably pretty good....makes me a little nauseous to type that. BLEH!

Did someone on this board think this Michigan team was better than '07? - if so, they need to be placed on DOUBLE SECRET PROBATION --- Let's not forget the GameDay crew had Michigan 10-1 going into their Ohio State game (I believe they had their loss to Michigan St) so I guess that is still possible ;)
So the "experts" thought this Michigan team would have a really good season ---

I didn't think anyone with West By God ties would ever congratulate VeeTee.

You know, I have got to be one of the most unique football fans there is - growing up we had 2 radio stations in town - one carried WVU football and the other carried VT football - Blacksburg was about 60 miles away and Morgantown was 2 1/2 days away :D - therefore as a kid we went to VPI to see most live college football --- Therefore my 2 favorite teams forever have been WV and VT and over the last 16 years APP State --- my order of preference now is APP, WV, VT ---
It's kind of like someone saying his/her two favorite basketball teams are Duke and UNC - :o

Yeah. Kind of like that Yankees AND Red Sox fan I ran into some time back. I think they were just a bandwagon fan, but it still caused a double take.

ULM barely edged Idaho yesterday by a last minute TD. There's another winnable conference game on Black Saturday.

ULL lost too. Another mortal team.

Perhaps we should wait until we play a SBC game before we look at any games as winnable. I agree that I think we can be competitive in every SBC game we play but I'm not sure we still where we are after two games.

I think we beat them up so badly they just had nothing left in them against the Golden Domers.

It is tradition for Michigan to get blown out the week after playing App.

Gotta put Michigan in the rear view mirror. Road game against a team that had every reason to bring their best against a very young App squad. The SBC teams are really hard to rate at this point as their performances have been all over the board, some good and some bad. I could say the exact same thing about the Apps.

Either way: Go Apps!!
