Volleyball goes for eighth straight "W"

Best ticket in town tonite. Lady Apps take on a dangerous Presbyterian squad fresh from wins over NC Central, Wofford and Davidson; along with a decent performance (but a loss) on the road at Wake Forest.

The Apps are fresh off a tourney win at the University of Louisville's Active Ankle Challenge that included the homestanding Cardinals along with Tennessee State and Cincinnati. This is the perfect setup for a big letdown and a loss to a lesser opponent. It's up to Matt Ginipro and his young women to avoid the "flatline" tonite.

I like their chances.

Win is straight sets. What is it now 8-0? I believe it is.

I did work for me very well.

Submit a ticket though it did just go off the air as I was typing. It might be worth DJ being aware, and I would suggest include internet provider, internet speed, and whatever else you can include. That may or may not help, but it might be useful on their end.

Great job by the Ladies! It's good to have momentum going into their first conference match against Georgia State.

I happened to notice the Sun Belt website had the team's record at 7-1 and 0-1 in the conference though.

I noticed some mistakes on the SB webpage for the SB ON Demand media. They still list WKU as a school and leave off us and GaSo. Also some sports are missing from the sports pull-down menu. I pointed this out and was told the missing sports would be included when that sport had some media posted, and the same for the schools. But I did get a response. Something like a wrong standings which is updated often would be corrected I would think if you contacted them.

The best part about this win, was that we didnt play well and still managed a sweep. PC had their runs, but the Apps always answered. Next up is a big weekend with Ga State (2-5) on Friday and Radford (6-2, including win over Cal) and Maryland (6-0, all road wins) on Saturday.

Don't misunderstand. No one's freakin' out; but no ASU VB team has ever started a season this well. Would like the Apps to remain unbeaten; beat GaState for first Sunbelt win; beat Radford and go against the Maryland Terrapins on Saturday 10-0. Maryland is presently 6-0 and could be 8-0 when the two teams meet at 7 PM Saturday.
