Injuries

Unread post by BUTCH1991 » Sat Oct 13, 2012 9:17 pm

What do we know?

Blair went out, but I believe came back in.
Frazier hurt his arm on the last kick off and was being examined after the game.
Chisholm limped off in the 2nd half.

Others? Anyone heard any updates? Would hate to lose both Frazier & Chisholm in the same game.

Blair did seem to be ok. He played out the game. What happened to Sumler? He was on the sidelines in shorts and seemed to be limping. When did he get hurt?

Thanks 78 for the update! Great to know that Blair practiced today. He did eventually return to the Samford game but did have a limp.

As much as I would love to see Deuce back in action this Saturday, I hope he isn't rushing it. The original prognosis after Elon was 2-5 weeks and he did have arthroscopic surgery on October 1st.

DJ on Around the Mtn said Robinson and Blair are expected to play, but maybe not start, this week.

Per Blair himself (albeit through Twitter) he will be playing tomorrow. Don't know in what capacity or how much, but he will be playing.

Breitenstein has a high ankle sprain, but I don't think there is any way he misses this game. Although, depending on the severity, he probably did miss some practice time..

Said EB was listed as Probable so doubt we would even notice a limp by tomorrow. I would pay more attention if it was a questionable status.

On Blair I'm surprised that he came back in last week if he is going to be limited this week. Need more back ups to step up big. Hope JK can contain the dive mostly by himself.

Thanks! I just saw Brandon Grier and he told me they knew he was injured but didn't know how badly. I know the Britenstein's. His dad, Steve was my son's assistant coach at Watauga HIgh School. Super great family! Those boys are truly first class young men! I wish Eric a full recovery.... AFTER the Woofurd loss tomorrow. GO APPS!!!!

Tell Greir and the rest of them to not even let his injury enter their mind, I'm sure he won't play like he is injured.

Biggie - I don't believe they/we are required to even tell the truth on these injury reports are they we? - it's not official like the nfl ---

Yeah and some even lie on the Nfl ones. But for Ayers and ours I'd say they pretty accurate usually.

Any word on Chisholm? I did not see him return after limping off last week. He looked sharp and had the nice TD run, would really be nice to have him in there to spell Miller or give some 2-back looks.

Since I never heard anything on Grier, that one has added to the pain of this week.
