Re: Questions
How do you delete a post you have made?
I posted on the Felix thread and made a mistake by writing Jamaica instead of Bahamas which I fixed, but it posted it twice. Now I can't find where to delete the one with Jamaica in it since it was the one that is wrong.

Re: Questions
What browser are you using? It seems to be fine on internet explorer but Firefox is not handling it well.hapapp wrote:I don't mean to be dense but I'm not following your instructions.
I see a little red icon next to the thread with the unread post but when I click on it, it just takes me to the start of the thread.

Re: Questions
That is what I figured. There's a known issue in Firefox that is preventing it from working properly. I will continue to try and find a solution.hapapp wrote:Firefox

Re: Questions
After you click on the thread where the unread post is, at the top of the thread click first unread post as indicated in the picture below. I'm still working to see if I can get it to go automatically, but as mentioned, this is a bug in firefox. Works just fine in other browsers to my knowledge.hapapp wrote:Is there an easier way to read this board? I click on "unread posts" but all it does is take me to the thread where the unread post is. I have to wade through all the posts in that thread to get to the unread post. The old board was much better at expediting that exercise.

I know that it is still a minor inconvenience, but hopefully that helps a little bit.

Re: Questions
Try again. Was doing some work for appst89 to help get post counts over from Delphi and the first unread post was disabled for just a bit. I just tested it and it should be working for you again.

Re: Questions
I was just getting ready to delete the post because it is now working again.

Re: Questions
While we are on the subject of unread posts, what is the simplest way of seeing unread posts? What I have been doing after signing in, is click "unread posts" on the right. That brings up the list of threads with unread posts. Then I click the little red icon next to the thread name. Once the list of posts pop up, I click "first unread post". That seems like a lot to do. And quite honestly, I'm still seeing posts from Aug 9, show up as unread, even though I know I read it.
Is there an easier way of seeing the unread posts? Maybe it can show just the unread ones automatically, but I just don't have the correct settings.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. That's the only thing that's keeping me from actually liking this board.
One other thing, where's the reputation button? It seems to have disappeared.

Re: Questions
I can't really help much more on board navigation. I'm still looking to have it automatically go to the first unread post in firefox, but if you're using internet explorer, it takes you directly to the first unread post (provided you have an up to date version of the browser). The reputation system was disabled for a bit for work related to the post counts but it should be back up and working fine now.kiddbrewer wrote:While we are on the subject of unread posts, what is the simplest way of seeing unread posts? Re: Questions
Ok - let me know if you have any problems. I have tried Chrome as well and didn't notice any issues but I will look again. Any issues that anyone is facing need to be reported or I can't fix them so thanks for posting.kiddbrewer wrote:Ok, thanks. I guess I will start using IE. I've been using Chrome.

Re: Questions
I'm guessing the answer is no.RankinApp wrote:Would it possible to create an "Other Schools Athletics" subforum like the old MMB to separate out the sports from general non-ASU discussion?

Re: Questions
The answer is yes - it is possible. I would PM appst89 and ask him.RankinApp wrote:Would it possible to create an "Other Schools Athletics" subforum like the old MMB to separate out the sports from general non-ASU discussion?
