Sounds like a plan. Anyway, the re-naming of Howard's Knob is something long overdue, Mount Jerrymoore does sound better.

How about renaming the school--- Jerry Moore University and every road, Jerry Moore Rd., Jerry Moore Ave., Jerry Moore Blvd. and while we're at it just rename Boone to Moore ,NC. That ought to give him the recognition he deserves , Right??

It was a perfectly fitting absurd response to some absurd comments. I only hope Coach Moore remembers being in the stadium this Saturday since he evidently forgot he was there just 8 months ago.

From the tenor of some of the recent posts, I wouldn't be surprised to hear some boos from the stands when Moore comes out on to the field.

That has about the same probability of happening as some would scatter palm branches at his feet as he walks onto the field.

Not trying to pick a fight, just wanted to know if anyone else noticed that Jerry Moore was wearing App St sweatshirt that said SoCon on the front when he was interviewed by ESPN 3. I know he had all the success in the SoCon, but could we not at least provided him with a shirt that had the Sun Belt Conference instead of SoCon? It make me wonder if he meant to do it. Just wondering if anyone else noticed?

Bet he knew what he was doing and was making a statement. His 24yrs at App were SoCon years, not Sun Belt. We all know he wanted nothing to do with FBS. JMO

I really doubt it. He wasn't keen on FBS, you're right, but I don't think he's thoughtful enough, at his age, for a subtle jab like that.
