Sugar Hill Gang rapper dead at 57. I remember spinning that long-play 33 and 1/3 back in '80. Condolences to Wonder Mike and Master Gee.

Yea everybody was a rapper when Rapper's Deliight and 8th Wonder came out. I was in the 5th grade when I first heard 8th Wonder. Me and my cracker white friends knew every word to that 8 minute song - fly girls clap yo hands!! RIP Hank

Link for the youngsters and oldsters. Unless you grew up in the 80's chances are you only know these cats as the Apache song. Check this out for a sweet trip back to 1980.
