He could play somewhere next year, but it won't be here.MJ1988 wrote:Would price be eligible to play his senior year at App....rehab project ?

Re: Mark Speir at our game today
We all know that he made several stupid decisions and needed no longer to be a part of the program. Perhaps, we should give him the benefit of the doubt and just believe he was there yesterday to see some of his former teammates play their final game.Saint3333 wrote:It is going to suck even more watching the NFL draft,

Perhaps he'll declare for it. I actually thought he might last year.Saint3333 wrote:It is going to suck even more watching the NFL draft,

Said "Hello" to Coach Fox as he was headed into the game yesterday. Nice to see the MBB Coach coming in to support the football team. Hope all our coaches support each other.

I want to give a shout out to Coach Angel and the Women's Basketball team. They were working the Yosef Club room before the game. When they weren't serving food, they were walking around the room introducing themselves and talking with everyone there. Another class act and great hire for App!

Who said he wasn't? The kid got more than one chance.hapapp wrote:We all know that he made several stupid decisions and needed no longer to be a part of the program. Not disputing that...just saw no need to pile on. Perhaps I misunderstood your comment...it seemed like a slam to me.Saint3333 wrote:Who said he wasn't? Re: Mark Speir at our game today
The kid got three strikes. He was the most talented WR I've seen come through App and was at a minimum a day two draft pick. The world was at his finger tips.
View it as a slam if you want but I speak frankly and my post was a harsh reality for the kid. Perhaps if others had been as frank with him he'd learned his lesson the first time.

No one is defending his actions, just didn't see the need to make such a snarky remark. Not worth squabbling over.Saint3333 wrote:The kid got three strikes. He was the most talented WR I've seen come through App and was at a minimum a day two draft pick. The world was at his finger tips.

You didn't see the need for what you consider a snarky comment followed by an eye roll, really Hap?
Re: Mark Speir at our game today
If he's cleaned up his act...don't see why one guy who was there Saturday (Speir) doesn't give a guy he probably helped recruit (Price) a shot in Cullowhee. He would light up the new, less competitive, SoCon.Saint3333 wrote:He could play somewhere next year, but it won't be here.MJ1988 wrote:Would price be eligible to play his senior year at App....rehab project ?

That would be a great fit. Hope, if he's on the right track, he's a consideration for them.appgrad wrote:If he's cleaned up his act...don't see why one guy who was there Saturday (Speir) doesn't give a guy he probably helped recruit (Price) a shot in Cullowhee.
