It will be fun in Norfolk this season when Meadors and Adams play ODU. A good game to go to!

I'd love to see us take down the Butterflies. It's not too far from Durham either...

App State 2-0 in recruting battles against ODU. Now let's go 2-0 on the field.

Could have used some of this salt for the roads on Monday (quotes from ODU boards):

"Appy has a great football tradition and fan base but it is hard to imagine folks who want to go to Boone instead of ODU with our 353 campaign. Of course if you are big on skiing they do have the advantage."

"Winning on the field is the ultimate thing, these app fans are as delusional as hell"

Hey Moose, What other big time recruits are we still after? Seems like we are pretty close to the number we were going after. Any chance we can still flip Tarrick Thomas?

Some of them know the deal.

Darnell Thompson is at the top of the wish list I would say. And honestly I don't believe it's over on Thomas or Roth either one (for opposite reasons) until next Wednesday. I know the odds are not great but family can change things, as we saw with Thomas. We'll know later this evening if it happens but word is we're supposed to do an in home with Thomas tonight to convince his family that App is the place for him. Wish they could have come with him on his OV but they didn't. We'll see on all of them. Still a couple more ATH's in play but it's a waiting game right now. Still several days left to sweat it out but time is running out for offers to come in time to make an OV somewhere.

Sounds like GSU is working hard to flip Obe. I hope the coaches are planning an in home visit to the Fortune residence this week to shore him up!

There are people from everywhere - and particularly every college town - who just can't fathom that there could be people who don't find their town to be the absolute best place to live in the world.

Va. Beach seems like a nice area, but maybe they should have a backup pitch in place just in case "Come to school here, we're close to the beach!" doesn't win them every recruiting battle.

Our friends in Stinkboro may be pushing him further away.

Dwayne Ledford tweeted that he was on a flight to Tallahassee about an hour ago. I wonder if Satt is with him?

Where do you guys in the know see Adams (provided he signs of course)? Do we redshirt him or is he a potential freshman starter? If he is the real deal we just jumped up to big boy level with receivers. Loving it.
I think that we learned from last year that if the kid can play, then he will play. However, given our depth at WR, he is in a good position to learn and get stronger and better without the pressure of being an instant contributor.

I assume it's been difficult for others to get on tonight, not just me.

I know many have seen that OL Jonathan Roth said tonight he was going to sign with MTSU. We all knew he was a long shot and even though the visit went well many of his teammates and friends are going to MT so chances of flipping him were slim. We gave it our best.

Sounds like the in home with Tarrick Thomas' family went pretty well. But his father is solid with FAU and the staff there (based on his twitter posts) so this will be another tough flip. Can't say we didn't give it our all as Satt went with DL and CF to Tallahassee for the meeting. We can't do much more than that. We'll see what happens.

We still could try for another OL since we still have a couple of offers and some interests out there. We'll see if anything pops tomorrow. Also we still have a few visitors coming in this weekend. Last I heard was 5 but that was last weekend. We'll know more tomorrow. Still a few days left so I'll be updating with any new info that comes out.

Is this in referring to Adams or did we get Thomas to flip?

Actually that was tweeted out two days ago and has just been making the rounds of retweets. Several posted it today after the Adams commit but nothing new on Thomas so far other than what I posted above. We'll see what is posted by all involved in the next day or so. That should give us a little more indication as to what might happen.
