Re: Wrestling Apps in NCAA's
I watched bit of the SoCon tourney online. One of our Mountaineers in the final was playing even and in the final 7 seconds lost a point and a potential spot in that weight class. Was that Parisi?
I am not sure how it works but the SoCon had more spots assigned than weight classes. I guess every weight class tourney winner advances and then a few other weight classes have the top 2 advance. I am not sure how they decide which weight class earns two spots. Some sort of RPI for the conference for that specific weight class maybe?
Any idea why Campbell, 0-7 in the conf was not at the tourney. Were they told not to come or decided not to since they had a terrible season (last year they were 2nd in the conf tourney.)
