Football's spring practice has ended; there was no "traditional" spring game. Our women's basketball team did a one and done in the Sun Belt Tourney; while our men's basketball team was ineligible for post-season play. In times like this, most collegiate fans turn their attention to baseball and softball. Not so much for ASU fans. As of midnight on 3.14.2015, our baseball and softball teams sported a combined record of 13-24; 0-9 Sun Belt.
Other than the April 15 start of the spring signing period for men's and women's basketball and our Olympic sports, we don't have much to look forward to for five and a half months. It's a looooong time until Sat., Sept. 5.
Loooong spring ahead!

Re: Loooong spring ahead!
I have a feeling I'll be too busy to notice myself. At least some can look forward to the flood of recruiting information to come.

Softball dropped a DH by a combined score of 18-4 to Troy which had been previously winless in the SBC.

It doesn't take much of an excuse to get me to spend a Saturday in Boone. Dry weather and a baseball game? I'M IN !
Yes, I'd like the Diamond Apps to be a lot better, but I'm willing to drive 3 hours from Raleigh just to decompress and enjoy cheering for the Mountaineers with friends and family.

Re: Loooong spring ahead!
There may be some talk of adding teams to the sunbelt or conference realignment to keep things a little bit interesting. Things could get interesting if the big 12 expands. Over on the sunbelt board there is some talk about regionalizing conferences and app to cusa. Just baseless chatter but still interesting to consider.
