Their coach was injured during celebration and will be on crutches.

It is pretty bad that GaSt Sun Belt Champ is a 14 seed while Wofford wins SoCon and is a 12 seed. I wonder if the 38 total points to win the championship played into that? Davidson is the big winner in the conference jumping; does NOT win the A10 Championship but gets in the dance as a 10 seed. That could/would never happen in the SoCon.

Wofford as a 12 seed is a real head scratcher. The committee knows that Davidson isn't in the league anymore, but maybe it still smells like Davidson???

Maybe someone had a stroke.

Wofford has a 47 RPI which could put them in around the 12th seed.

GaSt is 61. That would put them around 15th seed actually.

That is using NCAA's on RPI at http://www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball ... etball-rpi

And from my understanding, right or wrong, the RPI is a huge factor.

Wofford is a12th seed because Wofford is good enough to be a 12th seed. Hopefully, Georgia State can prove it's better than its seed, but they didn't show it today.

Wofford as a 12 seed isn't a surprise to anyone who was paying attention; that's where most predicted them to be. The win over State was big for them.

Georgia State is a dangerous team and will be a tough out, but they took too many really bad losses to be seeded higher.

Also, that GSU-GSU game today may have set basketball back 100 years. Good lord...

As I said on the belt board, it's fitting the game was played by two Georgia teams, because it set basketball back to the days of peach baskets.

I dont normally watch college basketball during the season, but I do tune in during the tournaments. Is it common for teams to score 30 points in a ballgame? I saw two games the Sunbelt game and Wyoming vs San Diego St game. Both games were horrible to watch. These were championship games. with less than 50 points scored. I noticed a lot of touch fouls called and there was a severe lack of shooting skill. I cant imagine if I was the announcer trying to act like I was interested in these games.

watched 5 minutes of the game yesterday, it was embarrassing for the league, both teams couldn't throw the ball in the ocean, and it wasn't because the teams were playing great defense, they were taking horrible shots, guys taking fade away jumpers from outside the three point line etc. really hard to watch, if these two teams were the best in the conference, which their records suggest they were, it shows how bad the conference was this year.

Even with the conference taking a step back this year it is still better than the SoCon and only one spot lower than the CAA and 3 spots lower than CUSA in RPI.
