I just perused Tiggernet and they have another thread with the hothothot video. That's pretty cool that they finally got the Internet in 2015. Maybe I should show then Charlie Bit Me.

Re: Uhmmmm...just heard from a Clemson friend
Just my opinion, but I think these articles lampooning any opponent on Yosef's Cabin are in poor taste. It's one thing for someone to do it on their individual blog, and I know this is a fan site and NOT actually University affiliated, but it just really doesn't accomplish anything....especially when that opponent is writing us a $900K check and currently ranked 12th in the country.
On the other hand, I was reading through TigerNet and they are AWFULLY thin skinned. If they want to be treated like "big boys" they need to toughen up. I didn't realize Tigers had such thin skin! Anybody who actually gets bent out of shape by an internet blog is just out of touch with reality. They even got all upset over the "Underdog Dynasty" blog about the game. GEEZ....the name is UNDERDOG Dynasty!
I can't wait to head down to Clemson in the morning. Let's just play a football game and quit with the childish pranks.
GO APPS!

I have to agree with some of the others, some of these roasts are over the top. I quit reading them last year. I don't particularly like it when others do it to us so I guess that is where I am coming from.
Well T-dog, as far as journalism goes, I guess you got their full attention. Hopefully this has no affect on the game, and how our team and fans are treated.

Just talked to a big booster of Clemson and they are not taking this very well! Players have been notified of this we definitely have there attention. He also noted that he wisely left phone number and contact info at bottom of article . They will have a hay day with this.

Re: Uhmmmm...just heard from a Clemson friend
On one hand, I get joking around and stoking the fire a little for the sake of having fun, but on the other hand, this is a huge uphill battle for us, so why stoke the fire at all?
We are going into one of the toughest places to play in the nation and we are going up against some huge talent. If anything, we should be keeping quiet about Clemson so they won't notice us. Writing lengthy articles and posts about how terrible they are and taking digs at them won't do that. If anything, it's just going to piss them off more and make them want to break our backs tomorrow. Remember, they aren't coming to The Rock; we're going to Death Valley.
Not only do they know we're coming, but they're also pissed that we're coming. That's a terrible combination. If we get down now, expect them to run the score up on us as much as humanly possible after some of the articles and remarks that have been posted.

This whole thing is getting a bit overblown by both sides, especially Clempzun, and is actually pretty funny to me. Pass the popcorn!

Re: Uhmmmm...just heard from a Clemson friend
Say what you will about the literary "merit" of the T-Dogg roastings, but if you think that a fan site is going to be the difference between if we get beat by 20 or 40 you are mistaken. This is not a player making comments to a newspaper that is now on their bulletin board. I don't recall a roasting about Va Tech the year we went up there and they hung a 53 point difference on us. If Dabo makes a decision to leave starters in during the fourth over a fan blog post that was clearly in jest, its up to our defense to try and stop them. If we are incapable of that then we deserve to get beat by what we get beat by. This is a game, we have to earn what the final outcome is, not depend on niceties of the opposing team. That's really what this thread is about, "Clemson's going to try and run the score up now."
Taking jabs and ribbing is a big part of college football. It's why you are aware that all Florida Gator fans where jorts, why all LSU fans smell like corn dogs, why UNC is the whine and cheese crowd, why all Dukies are from New Jersey, why FSU is the Criminoles, and why I assure you that long before that blog post the Clemson fans thought we were a bunch of backwoods hill billies coming down the mountain to give them a patsy to play. I surely hope these Clemson fans don't wonder over to the Pack Pride board before they play State this year. That's another level of irrational trash talk.

Thank you. We act like they'll keep it within two scores if we're nice to them and stay in our place. Who cares if a bunch of fans get in a wad.MtnMan09 wrote:Say what you will about the literary "merit" of the T-Dogg roastings, but if you think that a fan site is going to be the difference between if we get beat by 20 or 40 you are mistaken. Re: Uhmmmm...just heard from a Clemson friend
Yeah guys, I hate to say it, but there is no way Dabo or any of their players care about that article. Some of their fans may be upset, but I highly, HIGHLY doubt than an article on a fansite will be taken seriously by Dabo, or the local news as someone suggested.
If they needed that to get motivated for the game, we're winning already.

Re: Uhmmmm...just heard from a Clemson friend
If Dabo wants to keep his starters in and they are running it up way late, then that would be really dumb seeing as they play a very good Louisville team on Thursday night. He has already lost one big WR to an injury.

Their job is to score and our job is to stop them. If they can win by 70 then they should. If we can win by 70 then we should.

This is exactly what I was talking about...Long before that post we were just a "blip on their radar." This post changed nothing.

Re: Uhmmmm...just heard from a Clemson friend
Based on tigernet (and some of my experience with the frat guys at the last Clemson game) the D-baginess is strong with those groups, so I wouldn't be shocked to see them do anything at this point.
Granted some older people I hung out with down there were very cool, free half gallons of jack daniels, etc at halftime tailgate. But I'm guessing those aren't the people on tigernet these days.

Re: Uhmmmm...just heard from a Clemson friend
I find it desperate on the part of those pussy...........cats. They are grasping if this is "bulletin board material" to get them fired up. Did they send the "look-a-like" thread to the locker room too? There is no more flying under the radar. We want everyone's best shot (sucks Mike Williams isn't playing)...isn't that part of the reason we moved up??? To play with the big boys???
Did the Over Mountain Men run when Major Ferguson proclaimed that if they didn't lay down their arms, he would "march his army over the mountains, hang their leaders, and lay waste the country with fire and sword."? HELL NO!!! Those fine mountain folks formed a rag tag militia and marched on Kings Mountain. Charging an enemy 1,000 strong who was entrenched from an elevated position, the Over Mountain Men defeated the Loyalist exposing Cornwallis' western flank forcing his retreat out of NC back to SC. A major turning point in the revolution.
Now this revolution may not be televised but you can catch it on ESPN3!
T-Dog sort of screwed himself by leaving all his contact info out there for the world to see. I believe they've been texting him already and are talking about posting ads on Craigslist with his contact info. I know his twitter has been inundated.

I thought it was very well written, of course Clemson wouldn't like it. This is college football and it is what college football is about. Fans MAKE college football, more fan interaction and involvement, the more exciting the games are.
Get over it.
Get over it.
