I thought about some points you all brought up in regards to the game and the past comparable games. There were many, I mean MANY bright spots in the game Saturday. And I agree if Lamb does not throw the first INT in the endzone, we would be talking about a possible scoring situation.

But the games against the Power Five are how we get into the discussion of the national spotlight, a New Years 6 type bowl, and of course the revenue.

Playing UT, Penn State, Wake, etc is going to be different in the future. We will have astern who know how to play in a stadium that seats 81k, a group that knows how to show up, and we do have a coaching staff they are rock solid

There were times Saturday were I could see the training and the time in the weight room showing off. When Upshaw carried a few defenders with him, when the Defense was getting past the O LIne, etc.

I really am pleased with the PODCAST, you broke the game down well.

Thanks!

Ultimately we want people to view games within their proper context. Unless something changes, Clemson looks like a team that belongs in the top 10. It would be hard for any G5 to compete with that.

I don't think there's anything fundamentally different that can be done to address what happened on Saturday. We should continue to recruit the best players we can and preach disciplined football. One day, hopefully soon, we can knock off a Top 10 team like Clemson by playing a perfect game and taking advantage of their mistakes.

So while we want to win every game we play, acknowledging the chasm between a G5 and P5 roster is important to accurately assess how we stack up against our peers and the teams we'll compete with for a bowl game.

Thanks again for listening!

As always, great job guys!

Love hearing about all of the positives from the game and what to look forward to further on into the year!

I wish people would wait to listen to the B&G Podcast before saying things like we should bench our starting QB.

Great job keying in on the defense and different running styles of Marcus and Terrance. Let's all agree to focus on the positives and look forward to ODU. GO APP!
