This should make the fans at Texas State happy as they have been left out of bowls in past year due to location. At least in their minds.

Makes sense though when you think about it. Arizona might be attractive to the Texas teams and New Mexico State, but for the majority of the Sun Belt, that's not going to draw large crowds from a majority of Sun Belt schools. With New Mexico State's future up in the air, I would hinge my Arizona bowl on the Sun Belt either.AppGrad78 wrote:The folks who originally posted the news are now backtracking. Check out the Popeye's Bahamas Bowl... http://www.bahamasbowl.com/the-game/abo ... amas-bowl/hotrod2001 wrote:Aren't we supposedly getting another bowl but it's in the Bahamas?
So turns out we are a secondary tie in for this bowl just like the Bahamas Bowl and Miami Bowl. This should leave the door open for Charleston if they decide to move forward.AppGrad78 wrote:The folks who originally posted the news are now backtracking. Pretty much the case for every league except the Sun Belt now. Might as well join the party!Saint3333 wrote:By next year two additional bowls will be added and anyone with a 6-6 record and a pulse will be bowling.
