Good grief guys. Thugs crash parties all the time. Music, women and booze will draw the worms to the surface every time. Tashion is from the west side of Meck Co, not a easy place to stay out of trouble. He had to grow up quickly and was a model student at West Meck. Time to stop jumping to conclusions and give the young man the benefit of doubt.

I'm not reaching any conclusion or throwing anyone under the bus, but if I didn't know Singleton was an ASU student or football player; didn't know anything about him at all except his age, location of the party, and the report as stated, it would be hard as heck for me to assume that he was most likely just the victim of a random shooting. It certainly could have been totally random. I wish him the best and hope it was just an unfortunate incident of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. But if you hear about 100 incidents like this, the vast majority of folks getting shot are not random.

Thus, it makes sense to say wait and see how this plays out, but it also very understandable to say you're less likely to get shot and stay out of trouble if you don't hang out at events with thugs and guns.

Glad to hear that they are good kids who wouldn't look for trouble but 2:30 in the morning is a much better time to be heading to bed than to be heading TO a party. Glad he's OK and hopefully he will recover fully and be the beast he is capable of being on the football field next fall.

Hahahahahaha ignorance is bliss. Every teacher, parent and pastor says that little johnny and his friends are nothing but harmless angels on their way to choir practice. Singleton could very well be a good young man but he might need to think about who he hangs with and where.

From all I can gather this is a good kid in the wrong place at the wrong time. I hope that some of you were trying to say that he should learn from this and think about what he is doing at 2:30 AM. Not a lot of good things happen then but most of us have been out and about at that hour. Maybe we were just the lucky ones and not so much the smarter ones. Yes he may also have been going to the aid of someone in need. Yes we have had some bad apples but no they have not spoiled the whole bunch.
Get better young man, and get back to the mountain. We need you on AND off the field.
Good luck!!
