Re: 46th in the CBS 128 Rankings
And this ranking predates the GaSo beat down, I expect some upward movement come Monday when the week 8 poll is released!
Incidentally, I've been tracking the CBS 128 rankings since preseason:
Pre: 77
Wk 1: 66 (impressive opening shut out)
Wk 2: 84 (melt down in the 2nd quarter against a title contender in Clemson)
Wk 3: 87 (did we lose to Bye?)
Wk 4: 64 (another shut out dealt)
Wk 5: 62 (defense is getting some notice poking the Cowboys)
Wk 6: 54 (beat down GaState in the Dome)
Wk 7: 46 (impressive road win in Duck Dynasty)
We've been ranked higher than EZU every week except preseason and week 5 when EZU jumped to 53 after the VaTech game.

If we win the next 2 (hopefully impressively) maybe we pick up at least votes in the major polls

Also, I would love to have another go at ECU with this team right now.
How would Dec. 19 in Orlando work for you?

Re: 46th in the CBS 128 Rankings
If it were up to me and I wanted to reward these young men for what will undoubtedly be an outstanding season (hopefully 11-1) I would prefer Orlando over Alabama and even New Orleans. Any Florida bowl just seems better to me. They can go to Orlando, maybe Disney, play a great game and be home for Christmas.EastHallApp wrote:8993 wrote:I would hope we move into the 35-39 region next week.
