They should have let Young'Ho try the winning FG in regulation.

So where was Ellison in the fourth quarter? Hurt? Upshaw is not the person I want in in that situation.

Obviously playing to win in OT but conservative at the end of regulation? Fritz had some head scratchers at the end

Hard to say but I was pulling for them. Questionable play calling, bringing in Upshaw late, and not being able to execute a forward pass sealed the deal.

The Wildcat play call on 4th and 1 in OT was dumb, just run your damn offense Ga Southern. Why get all cute? The wildcat hadn't worked, GA knew what they were doing.

Reminded me of our playoff game against JMU where Mickey coached them into a position to win the game, then coached them out of it. Fritz did the same.

Played not to lose at the end of regulation cost GS their best shot at the end. The P5 and in particular the SEC almost had a really tuff day. South Carolina loses to an FCS team. Hate that for Elliot. He"s no longer even in the conversation for the head coaching job. They may run him out of Columbia all together. Then two G5 schools take SEC schools to overtime.

I am sure Shawn will be fine. It's amazing how quick fortunes can change at this level. Maybe we could get him back in Boone....

Not the east, especially.

I hate pulling for stink, but I kinda would like to see them pull this. I didn't realize UGA had only played them 6 times ever.
Only 6 times, At least they have played....

Perhaps our state's "flagship" will take notice. Afterall, now that they have been ordained god's gift to football in the state, despite their weak-a$$ schedule this year, they will find the cajones to tee it up with us for the 1st time since 1940!

They were on the winning end of a TD review yesterday too. Football really needs to settle on what a completed catch is.

UNC-Cheat's entire season could very well be vacated as well as a lot of other games if the NCAA does what should be done for academic fraud. We'll see...

The alleged violations ended in 2011. They could give UNC the full Penn State treatment and it wouldn't affect this season.

Does anyone know why Fritts was arguing the muffed punt so strenuously? All the replays looked pretty clear that the returner just let it go through his hands.

I think what he's trying to say is bringing it up, throwing it out there over and over and over again comes across as jealous little brothers trying to bring the bigger brother down. Fact: UNC accomplished that feat themselves, they were busted, they were punished, they served out their punishment. It's time to move on. Continuing to bring it up does NOTHING to bring them down but everything to bring the outside perception of App fans down. This is how fan bases get generalized as unsavory, rude, and arrogant.
