Shabbaz led the Apps in the 2nd half with 15 of his 17 points. The Apps trailed by 1 at the half.

Was it me that posted a sarcastic comment last week something along the lines of... "Hope springs eternal?"hapapp wrote:Shabbaz led the Apps in the 2nd half with 15 of his 17 points. The Apps trailed by 1 at the half.

I think it was you but I didn't realize it was in sarcasm.

Re: App v Liberty
Our basketball program has kept me on an emotional roller coaster since 1970-something. Our guys made a bad Tulane five look like an NBA playoff team--losing by 28 just four days ago. From that, I gave us no chance of beating Liberty. So we beat Liberty by double digits and now (tomorrow) face a Mercer team that beat Tulane by 10 ten on a neutral court tonite. Here we go again...NewApp wrote:asu66 wrote:Was it me that posted a sarcastic comment last week something along the lines of... Re: App v Liberty
Unfortunately that's been college basketball pretty much across the board this year. I'm fine with it as long as they are consistent with the calls and don't just go back to the old rules when conference play starts. CBB in my opinion has been too physical over the past years and could use a lot more scoring, hopefully in the long run these rule changes will create that.proasu89 wrote:54 total fouls called last night. Re: App v Liberty
Go to 3 fouls instead of 5 and things would change over night.

Re: App v Liberty
Yes, i watched the video that TDog posted earlier regarding the new points of emphasis. Hopefully our guys will adjust and they were only responsible yesterday for 22 of the 54. Maybe this will clean up the game but right now a foul a minute is unwatchable.Yosef10 wrote:Unfortunately that's been college basketball pretty much across the board this year.
