Re: App v SFA
Apps lose by 10, 94-84. We outshot Stephen F. Austin, 67% to 63% from the floor, and 85% to 61%% from the line, and 45% to 31% from behind the arc. However, we turned the ball over 28 times!

Probably 8-10 of those turnovers were offensive player control fouls. Never seen a game with so many of those.
These NCAA needs to take a hard look at the new "emphasis" in officiating. It is almost as if TV Ted is the head of all officiating for the NCAA this year and set this directive. Absolutely Unreal.

Re: App v SFA
If you haven't noticed already this season, player control is gonna be big this season. Even in the NCAA instructional video, it's said that there will be a rough transition with all the new rules early in the season.
The situation going forward isn't as dire as it was just last week. At least we're shooting better. SFA is a really good team and has been for some time.
Even though Lawson started this weekend, Tyrell Johnson is getting more minutes than. He's an off-season of S&C away from becoming a beast, but he's got some natural abilities you can't teach.

Re: App v SFA
If you watched the game, you had to be impressed with SFA on defense. They really pressed our guys hard and had 11 steals. We continue to struggle against the press and getting the ball in under our own basket. But this weekend showed a lot of improvement over last week.
