It's hard to go to bed after that type of game. I was planning on falling asleep when we were up 45-7... Watching Carolina getting thumped is soothing though.

Got to cut down on the TOs. Two weeks running we have killed drives and taken points of the board.

No one should have access to a message board during a game like this. Too reactionary especially when you are so passionate for the team.

Good stuff, I usually go with the long leaf IPA though. I really like that place. I've tried the others but AMB is my favorite. Great Boone atmosphere.mtnjax wrote:I'm medicating with an AMB BlondeRekdiver wrote:Took another blood pressure pill

The exact reason I never post in the chat or on the board during a game.aussie86 wrote:No one should have access to a message board during a game like this. Too reactionary especially when you are so passionate for the team.

That's what makes it interesting when going back and reading the posts. You can get a feel for how the game went throughout all phases.aussie86 wrote:No one should have access to a message board during a game like this. Too reactionary especially when you are so passionate for the team.

I just hope that game was a wakeup call. We were very lucky.
On another note. Who stole GA States uniforms and played that game?

Re: "Earth to Apps..."
I was frustrated last night watching what should have been a blowout turn into a nail-biter but the thing I have to remember is momentum can be lost as it is gained. In the 1st quarter we were the team we expected; confident, doing what ever we wanted. Then the two touchdown-giveaway fumbles, the muff by Fergerson and terrible clock management at end of 1st half---Momentum lost. We played a poor 3rd quarter and wobbled through most of the 4th BUT the defense made a couple of BIG stands and the offense got their confidence back aided by a huge 4th and 2 run by Moore. The M*A*S*H unit(trainers) were busy all night patching them up to go back to the front lines. In the end we win, we have 10 wins and are enjoying an unprecedented rise from FCS to FBS and are going bowling. Wow!!!

Re: "Earth to Apps..."
I fell asleep at half only to wake up at the end of the game to find the expected, a Mountaineer victory. The score was a little closer than expected but no worries right?
Then I heard the recap. Looking at the posts here, I am almost glad I missed it. Wow!
I was worried before this game started that we might not show up. USA playing for a bowl bid, we are in second and bowl bound no matter the outcome. Whew, a win is a win!
Side note- I can't help but wonder if GSU tanked it so the sister state school could get a bowl bid. Didn't see that coming. I will enjoy our win and their loss all the same!

Re: "Earth to Apps..."
Guess I am the odd man out here. I can't stand GSU but I want them to win every game they are not playing us. I want our rival to be the strongest team in the conference next to us. Just Like Duke/Carolina, it's no fun when Carolina is down. If I had my way we would be in separate divisions of the same conference and play them one time a year, for the conference championship.

I believe they are something like 6-2 over their last 8 games.bcoach wrote:I just hope that game was a wakeup call. We were very lucky.
