Re: Camelia Bowl
As I understand it, they're areas where a variety of gifts are laid out, all below a specific price point, and the players go in and get to pick their own gift from the options. Here's a YouTube video showing a Mizzou player in one of the suites a couple years ago.APPdiesel wrote:I know, but what's in the gift suite? That's what I meant. All the bowls say "gift suite" plus a few other items.AppStateNews wrote:It's what the players get for playing in the bowl.APPdiesel wrote:But what does "gift suite" mean?

I'm glad he didn't. Selling 3,000 tickets in two days isn't as impressive as leaving people assuming it was much more than that. I know I was surprised to learn it was merely 3,000 tickets just now. We can and will do much better than that by the 19th.

Re: Camelia Bowl
We should do at least as many as USA (4,800) even though they are in the same state. I'd say 6k is a good goal.

Re: Camelia Bowl
I'd imagine plenty avail on stub-hub and others...
An aside... Seems our initial allotment a tad light.. but.. nothing wrong with them getting more! A good situation to have! Wonder how well the "locals" attend the game...

Yes I would also try couple times a day to different hotels because of people dropping their reservations. When I called on Sunday to he double tree Hilton I had to drag it out of the lady till she finally said they had saved a block of rooms for bowl.

Re: Camelia Bowl
Doubt it, Goose. I heard on the Ohio message board that their fans were having trouble finding any hotels downtown for that weekend.

Ok. I've got reservations in Prattville (15 mins away) but if I could get closer that would be ideal. If not, no big deal as I'm just excited to be there for this historical event!Appftw wrote:Doubt it, Goose. Re: Camelia Bowl
From listening to the the podcast from the Scott Hamilton radio show today, Gillin said our initial allotment was 3,000 tickets. Doesn't know exactly how many more we are getting by said a few thousand more are likely.mountaineerman wrote:What does this even mean?asucrutch23 wrote:TheMoody1 wrote:EastHallApp wrote:First round of tickets: sold out!

Re: Camelia Bowl
Nice.. For fans who don't get tickets via App State.. I'm sure many will be available from the Bowl web page... No reason not to try and pack that stadium with a loud APP CROWD!

Re: Camelia Bowl
Just saw on Gillin's twitter account that App has 1,500 more tickets and can only be purchased over the phone by calling the App ticket office. Grab them while you can!
