Tickets yet?

I checked a couple hours ago and hadn't been charged yet either. Hopefully we will receive a notification when its processed. Would hate to drive to Montgomery just to discover I didn't have a ticket. I know I am being paranoid but I have waited for our first bowl game for years. Can't wait to get there.

Several things to remember here -
1) the pre-order process was in place for both Yosef points and "selling" our crowd to various bowls - it also gave the ticket office a clue as to what to expect - no pre-order=more scrambling for the ticket office,
2) yesterday was the first day the ticket office could sell for certain for a particular bowl,
3) mailing anything in mass quantities takes substantial time and effort - it's not as mechanical / computerized as any of us would want to believe,
4) the ticket office permanent staff is relatively small and was reduced by one FTE when Whitey left earlier this season - to my knowledge, a permanent head of the ticket office hasn't been named yet,
5) mailing at Christmas time can be iffy - why chance having someone not get their tickets?

Those are just the "off the top of my head" logistical issues that present themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if there's will call available on Friday evening at a team hotel / central location.

Let's remember that the last time our ticket office had this sort of rodeo to run was 2007 and cut them a little slack. After all, we're going bowling with our Mountaineer family! It doesn't get much more fun than that!

Its 2015. Why the hell not have something in place that allows you to print your own ticket as can be done for darn near everything else? I wish I could go down to Mongomery and spend more time, but I can't I'm lucky to get to go at all. I'll likley be getting there acouple of hours before the game at the earliest. Hope that whole time isn't spent standing in line for my ticket!

My Yosef Club account shows a Dec 12th billing date.

Guess they are probably going to take care of those in the Yosef Club first (as they should) maybe? I reserved out tickets on November 17th.

Just looked again and still haven't been charged. For those of you that have been charged, did you actually hit the green pay button? I was under the assumption that you preorder all the tickets you wanted but you didn't actually hit the pay button and that the ticket office would do that.

I'm glad we're getting real tickets, these tickets will go beside my Michigan and NC tickets.

I just went to my Yosef Club account and the tickets that I pre-orderd for this bowl were listed and I went ahead and hit the pay for tickets button next to it. Will call was the only delivery method available. I hope I don't get double charged. Anyone else see that on their account?

I'm glad I saw this thread, otherwise I wouldn't have known that I need to take action. Sure hope the ticket department sends out something so people don't get to Montgomery thinking they have a ticket after placing an order, only to find out they don't. And when will folks actually know they have a guaranteed ticket? Sure, I've paid for one, but nothing actually says I have one.

The original email said all you had to do was preorder and your credit card would be charged on the 6th. Now it says the 12th. I saw the pay button but didn't press it. It would be nice if the ticket office would send out an email letting us know what to do. I know they are swamped but it would be better than answering numerous questions over the phone.

I think that they would but maybe you doing it would save them some time. Who knows, but I went ahead and finished the process.

This is wack. No where did anything say go back in and pay. In fact it said the opposite-this is a commitment to buy the tickets and you will be charged as soon as we know which bowl we were going to. Guess I will go check and see what's the dealy yo.
