We all know the BOD's rendition of "The Tennessee Waltz" but here is the golden voice of the lady who made it famous.
RIP Patti Page
She was my parents' favorite singer. I have an autographed 45 of her singing the Tennessee Waltz. You might recall me several times defending our band's post game renditions.scatman77 wrote:

Off and on going back at least to the 70'sMcLeansvilleAppFan wrote:When did the BOD start playing The Tennessee Waltz?
I started the fall of 1973 and remember them playing it sometime around then or maybe a couple years later. All I know is that it's become a tradition that I hope never fades. The senior band members at their last home game have to be very emotional when it's played.JCline0429 wrote:Off and on going back at least to the 70'sMcLeansvilleAppFan wrote:When did the BOD start playing The Tennessee Waltz?
