Panthers to the Super Bowl!!!!

i am a die-hard Panther fan. I hated the Cam from a few years ago who either stood alone or sat alone on the bench. I want my QB to at least give off the illusion of looking at the pictures or the Ipad thing while the defense is on the field. I also want him engaging with the offense. That being said I think Cam has come a long way. I am a 50+ guy who is okay with the dancing and other stuff. I can do without the Superman thing, but whatever. My Panthers are the best team in the league and should win next Sunday. Personally I don't think that the African-American quote was necessary. I think that any 6'-5" 260lb QB with a skill set like Cam's would be scary. He has elite talent and I am ecstatic that he leads my favorite team. Guys like him are few and far between. I have reached a point where I could care less what these guys say. There aren't any more cliche's that can be made up and with the over abundance of media outlets nothing is sacred. Just win!

There was so much more to his media interview that that quote....I'm not sure what point you are trying to make...

No point...That was the headline and I know it is click bait. I just wanted to see what people thought about the quote. I am not a Panther fan so I don't really care what he says. But if I were asked for my opinion I would say "own who you are". People don't like him because of his behavior on the field. That's who he is, say I don't care what people think I am having fun, next question.

I'm a 64 year old relatively conservative person and His quote was "I'm an African American QB and that scares some people". He was asked the question and he gave an honest answer. I am a Panther fan and I can tell you the Carolina's have embraced Cam and his joy of the game...and defending our turf. He's no more brash than Joe Willie or Arron Rodgers with his "discount double check" belt deal and quite a few others. Even the early detractors have seen that Cam is no phony and he is a big kid playing a game that has changed from the old school days of my youth. I love it. Hell even Hugh MCColl dabs..........

I was a Redskin fan from almost birth until the Panthers came along. I remember the Fun Bunch- the receiving corp that would celebrate in the end zone. We had the "Iggy Shuffle" and other such crazy stuff. I have always been one of those guys who admires the athlete who "acts like he's been there before" but to be honest I get a kick out of Cam, the giving balls to kids and the general exuberance he shows. I believe he is just a guy who loves playing and gets excited. I loved when he said, "If you don't want me to dance, don't let me score". That was priceless. The guys I can't stand are the ones who make a sack when their team is getting run and they act like they made the play of the game.

This Panthers team reminds me a lot of this year's App team with how much fun they're having and how they look like they love playing together and for each other!

Not to nit pick but everywhere I have seen the quote it was like I posted it. The "and" was understood.

I just got in yesterday from a ski vacation in Colorado. because of the storm we had to fly out Sunday morning. we got to our condo in time to watch the end of the Broncos game and all of the Panthers game. Of course I showed my Panther pride on Monday! I packed my Panthers jersey in anticipation of a win and I wore that out skiing! got plenty of comments from Broncos fans, all nice and in good fun though.

And you know I had to Super Cam when I went past the on mountain photographer!
