Daniel Jeremiah
Daniel Jeremiah
I've been watching a lot of NFL Network lately as the draft approaches. I've really enjoyed Daniel's coverage. He's knowledgeable, insightful, professional and has fun with it. You can tell he does his homework. I'm proud to call him a Mountaineer. He was a pretty good little QB too! Keep up the nice work, Daniel!

Re: Daniel Jeremiah
He was the first person to talk about Carson Wentz being in the top few picks. Daniel doesn't bend his opinion for others, he learned that lesson with Russell Wilson.

He tweeted out last night, in response to Mike Mayock putting Ronald Blair at #72 in his top 100, that "Mayock loves App State!!!"

Re: Daniel Jeremiah
17 +/- years ago, when my younger son was about 3, both sons, wife, & I all went to the ASU football game. Don't recall the opponent. After the game, Daniel Jeremiah was at the restaurant there where Solocito's used to be. Jeremiah was there in his jersey (so we must have won that game), with a date, as I recall. He was nice enough to interrupt dinner to hoist my son upon his shoulder for a photo. That photo was near & dear to my son for many years, and it stayed on his dresser every year, while growing up. Son is now 6'5", 185 lbs, and a jr. at Gardner Webb (on the tennis team). Photo is STILL on his dresser at home.
Jeremiah is a prince of a fellow in my book.

Re: Daniel Jeremiah
Remember when he came off the bench and led us to a big win - maybe over Wake in '98? Headline in the Appalachian called him "Jere-messiah."

Re: Daniel Jeremiah
Daniel was on Rich Eisen's radio show yesterday and they played DJ's radio call of the final play coming out of a break (Eisen is a Michigan grad) and even talked about the game for a couple of minutes. The two bantering about the game made for good radio (and good memories).
Re: Daniel Jeremiah
OK, I actually went and looked at that photo of Jeremiah & my son (see 2 posts earlier). Memories can be ... um ... wrong. The photo was taken after a game in the stadium after Jeremiah came back out in street clothes. I do recall speaking to him in that restaurant though as well. So, there must have been two different events.
Still, he's a great guy. One never knows the impact a small, kind gesture can have on others.

Re: Daniel Jeremiah
Daniel's father is an inspiration as well. I think Daniel is carrying his fathers message with him each day.
