That's pretty open ended, could be anything. Something special for the Miami game?

I could be wrong but when I think "Vision" I think pretty long-term and pretty big, so hopefully this is the start of the next phase in the life of Kidd Brewer Stadium, in whatever form (expansion/retrofit/etc.) that might be. I'm glad this wasn't teased 2 months ago and we only have to wait 72 hours-ish.

I agree. Some committee sat down and drew out a long term plan of some sort. And you're right, 3 days is a much easier wait than months.

Hopefully whatever they decide, it does not disrupt the view of Howard's Knob.

If only Howard's Knob was 10 feet higher...we need to get trump on that.

If we are talking vision towards the future and bowling in the endzone. It would be cool to put in patios in the corners for a beer garden effect. Assuming that we will someday sell alcohol at games.

My first thought was the video board. Whatever it is will take dollars. Start planning now for increasing your Yosef pledge for next year, please! More dollars in mean more room for improvements.

From the Donate Page

"One of the most anticipated match-ups in Appalachian State Football history will occur next Saturday, September 17, when the Miami Hurricanes visit Kidd Brewer Stadium. As the center of many of our great football moments, Kidd Brewer Stadium is a special place to all of us. To illustrate a new vision for the Rock, we are proud to announce the launch of the Go Fight Win Campaign in support of a new video board. Help us define the moment for many years to come and participate in the Go Fight Win campaign."

I saw a thread on here the other day indicating a concern about attendance for the home opener. There are regularly conversations about the impact of being televised (assuming you really count ESPN 3). Problems with Thursday night games. Not being able to go to all the games for financial reasons. Kids do their things on weekends. Etc. I don't quite get the excitement about another stadium expansion.
