The Lady Apps picked up a 77-51 win over Coker in the first of two exhibitions on Wednesday. Story linked below.
That however is not the big story coming out of the game. Injuries are becoming an issue for Coach Elderkin moving forward. Having already lost a big piece of the puzzle before the season started by losing So G Kaila Craven to a season ending knee injury the Apps suffered another big loss last night as Sr C/F Mia Marshall suffered a knee injury as well. We'll know more soon but it could also be season ending or at least a large loss of playing time. She is one of our better rebounders and shot blockers plus a Sr leader on the floor. Time for some others to step up and let's hope for the injury bug to decide to fly away from Boone soon.
