We are planning on attending the Davidson game. Anyone taken in a game there? What section would be the App friendly to buy tickets in?

pretty much any section will be App "friendly". i've been to a few App games there, even the game Donald Simms broke Steph's record for most points in a game in Belk Arena, and i've never had any issues

10-4. Thanks for the advice. Figured I really could not go wrong. Didn't know if there would be an App section or not. Looks like small arena so I'm sure it doesn't have any bad seats

The only issue I've ever had was sitting in the App section in the upper part. Davidson fans would stand at the rail and block your view if you were on the 1st or 2nd row. Most would move when politely asked but there was a constant flow throughout the game.

Their ticket office will get you in the right spot, but if you order online you may never get unsubcribed from their email list. YUCK!

Looks like Troy game at 1pm on tv or espn3 and BB at Davidson 8 pm on TWC tv. Watch FB and attend BB!!

This is sort of off topic, but am I the only one who has changed his view on Davidson and McKillop? I kind of pull for them now. I know he was looking out for Fox when he put in a good word for him, but he must have thought App had the potential, otherwise he wouldn't have gone to bat for him.

The LKN Alumni Chapter is looking into finding a place (perhaps Brickhouse) to have people get together prior to the game for a "drop-in tailgate." For those attending the Davidson game, would you attend something like this? We're also looking into possible partnering with the YC to do this. Thoughts?

I think it does say a lot that he would let one of his better assistant coaches and recruiters leave to learn the ropes, similar to Coach Satt leaving in 2009 for Toledo to learn the ropes. I think the best coaches are the ones that let their "mentees" leave to grow on their own
