By the way that stadium has looked all this season you'll probably have more fans than the Aggies will.APP01 wrote:Heck yeah!!!!

We are planning to park at Pan America center and walk to Dublin's Pub for some Bar-gating. They open at 11 so will probably be there then.

Re: NMSU Game
BFS! No way T. Hayes should have been called for targeting let alone the late hit. Ridiculous they review it and still get it wrong!
KICK ASS!!!

Yes, that was one of the worst calls I've seen all year. The QBs head hit Hayes side and he slid after he was in the air.

Wonder if that incident can be protested to NCAA so he is eligible for bowl game?

It's only for the remainder of this game.CornCobPipes wrote:Wonder if that incident can be protested to NCAA so he is eligible for bowl game?

I think you are remembering the SoCon rule that if a player is ejected, they are suspended from the next game. The Sunbelt doesn't have that rule. Shouldn't prohibit him from the bowl game

Re: NMSU Game
I thought if it was targeting, the player is out for the first half of the next game. Also, where is Meadors the past couple possessions?

Re: NMSU Game
He's out for two halves. If the infraction occurs on the last play of the first half, it counts.boonetown1 wrote:I thought if it was targeting, the player is out for the first half of the next game. Also, where is Meadors the past couple possessions?

Re: NMSU Game
Cool....hope you guys are right.....thought targeting automatically meant missing next game too.....maybe there is distinction when definite head to head is called.AppinVA wrote:It's only for the remainder of this game.CornCobPipes wrote:Wonder if that incident can be protested to NCAA so he is eligible for bowl game?
Even Homer announcers said it was bad call.
They talked like he would miss bowl game.

We should be up way more, hope we come out and leave no doubt in the second half. Don't let this opportunity slip

Re: NMSU Game
God these announcers are insufferable. They don't have any idea what is going on. Can't call the players names right, can't figure out who is making the plays, and are 3 seconds away from writing love poems about the backup qb for nm state. Said he gets things done when he has to, just after he threw an incomplete pass on 4th and 5

Good Lord, is anybody at this game? The shot just now of the stands showed them empty.
